Harrogate

I live in Harrogate; famous for Betty's tea shop and Harlow Carr Gardens.

Nidderdale

Bilton is on the edge of the Nidd Gorge at the bottome end of Nidderdale. If I walk in one direction I get to Knaresborough right at the bottom of the dale. If I walk the other way I get to Ripley and the start of the Nidderdale Way. I usually say that Nidderdale is my favourite dale but then if I am in one of the other dales I tend to change my mind because they are all so lovely.
